Fox's upcoming limited series return for "24" has brought back yet another top figure from the original series' run.

Manny Coto has closed a deal to return for "Live Another Day," Fox's 12-episode reboot of the Kiefer Sutherland action franchise. He will serve as an executive producer and showrunner alongside Evan Katz and Howard Gordon on the 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine Television production.

Additionally, Coto has inked a new two-year overall deal with 20th Century TV.

“Manny is an incredible talent who wrote some of ’24’s’ greatest episodes, and we’ve been eager to develop with him ever since," 20th Century Fox TV chairman, Dana Walden, said.

"This deal not only brings him back as a showrunner alongside Evan Katz and Howard Gordon for ‘Live Another Day,’ but allows him to create his own hit series down the road. We are thrilled that he'll once again call 20th Century Fox Television his home.”

Aside from Katz and Gordon, Coto reunites with "24" executive producers and writers Robert Cochran and David Fury and director Jon Cassar.

During the network's upfront presentation in May, Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said "24: Live Another Day" will feature only the most eventful hours in a new Jack Bauer adventure that debuts in 2014.
