ABC is developing a 1960s-set drama about the pilots and flight attendants of Pan Am, Variety’s Michael Schneider reports.
The project was the idea of producer Nancy Ganis, who was herself a Pan Am flight attendant 30 years ago. Sony Pictures TV is backing the show, with Jack Orman (“ER”) attached to write and Thomas Schlamme (“The West Wing”) directing.
