Discovery announced on Monday that it would rebrand its FitTV network to Discovery Fit & Health, combining two sub-brands under the Discovery umbrella.
The name change will be made on Feb. 1. Discovery Fit & Health -- available in approximately 50 million homes – will reside at the channel location currently occupied by FitTV.
The channel will continue to feature Discovery Health programming, including “Dr. G: Medical Examiner,” “I’m Pregnant And …,” “911: The Bronx” and “Untold Stories of the ER,” as well as FitTV programming (“Bodies in Motion With Gilad,” “Namaste Yoga”) in the morning.
