"Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" creator Shonda Rhimes has gotten a greenlight for what would be her third medical drama for ABC.
The network today gave thumbs up to a pilot for "Off the Map," an hour about three doctors who leave the mainland to go to work on an isolated tropical island. (Maybe it should be called "Really Private Practice"? Or "Paradise Practice"? "Gilligan's Anatomy"?)
ABC picked up two more projects today; details of all three are below. Fox and CBS have also greenlit pilots today; details here.
