ABC is making some schedule changes that result in its “Happy Town” taking a few weeks off.

However, a network spokesperson says the low-rated series will return.

The show will air this Wednesday in its usual slot.

Next Wednesday, May 19, a special episode of “Primetime: What Would You Do?” is scheduled for the 10 p.m. timeslot.

That will be followed on May 26 by a previously scheduled airing of the feature film “Transformers.”

And finally, “Happy Town” returns on June 2 for an uninterrupted run of five new episodes, taking it to the end of its order and into the summer doldrums.
