The Moonves baby has arrived-- right in the middle of Premiere Week.
"Big Brother" and "Early Show" host Julie Chen and husband Leslie Moonves today weclomed son Charlie Moonves into the world. Chen gave birth at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at a Los Angeles hospital.
CBS issued a press release announcing the birth and noted that "mother and child are doing well."
Industry types will no doubt take note of the fact that Moonves and Chen's child arrived during the first week of the new season. And what's more, CBS has been having an amazing premiere week, with big numbers for returning ("NCIS," "Big Bang Theory") and new ("NCIS: Los Angeles") series alike.
Moonves was already the father of three from a past marriage. He and Chen celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary in December.
