Single young daddy comedy "Raising Hope" is getting a full-season pickup, Fox announced on Wednesday.

Bolstered by strong reviews and a plum post-"Glee" timeslot, the freshman sitcom has been a ratings hit for the network. With the new order, Fox is picking up the "Raising Hope"s' back nine, bringing the total pickup to 22 episodes.

The comedy from  Greg Garcia finds the "My Name is Earl" creator comfortably back on trailer park terrain. Tuesday night, "Raising Hope," drew a 2.6 rating/7 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic -- down 16 percent from last week.

It's been a season of firsts for Fox. Last week, the network was the first out of the gate to cancel a series (R.I.P. "Lone Star") and now it's the first to announce a full-season pickup.
