"The Big Bang Theory" just keeps getting bigger, scoring another record Monday thanks to a Super-sized promo push.

CBS's geek-centric comedy notched a 6.0 rating/14 share among adults 18-49, its largest rating yet and the biggest demo number this season for any live action comedy. "Big" was one of a number of CBS shows that got a major push during the Eye's record-smashing broadcast of the Super Bowl.

How big is "Bang"? Consider that it was just over a year ago, in January 2009, that CBS was putting out press releases noting record-high numbers for the show -- based on a 4.4 rating. The series is now regularly scoring in the mid-5s, demo-wise, and has now surged into the 6 territory.

If your last name is Lorre or Prady, or you work in the syndication unit of Warner Bros. Television, you can feel free to just burn some cash for heat today, if you so care. Because there's no reason local stations shouldn't be signing over their firstborns to land a piece of the "Bang" when it hits off-net syndication in about two years or so.

More on the rest of the ratings shortly....
