'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' will be back ... albeit on a new channel.
Cable outlet Syfy announced on Tuesday that it has attained the rights to all 31 episodes of the Fox series, which ran from 2007-2009 and starred Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau and Brian Austin Green.
Syfy will air "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" on Thursdays, beginning on April 7 with two back-to-back episodes from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT, which will be preceded by the 2003 theatrical release "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." The series' regular time slot will be Thursdays from 7-11 p.m. ET/PT.
The series picked up where 1991's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" left off, with Sarah Connor (Headey) and her son John going on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological army in Los Angeles.
