Actor Chace Crawford apparently has a bit of a weed habit -- just like his character on "Gossip Girl," Manhattan socialite Nate Archibald.
Crawford was busted for possession of under two ounces of marijuana in Plano, Texas shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday.
According to a report released by the Plano Police Department, he was arrested while in a 2003 Nissan 350Z that was in front of a local bar called Ringo's Pub.
Trent Scribner, the manager at Ringo's, told TheWrap, "He was arrested in front of our bar, I don't know whether he was here or not … nobody remembers seeing him here … but nobody here would even know who he was, no offense."
Scribner speculates that Crawford was probably at one of the other bars in the area if he wasn't at Ringo's. "There are six or seven bars near here … a lot of places in the area have Thursday night specials," said Scribner.
A spokeswoman for the Plano PD said they are not releasing any more information about Crawford's arrest. Crawford is also keeping quiet. The actor has apparently disconnected his phone to avoid any inquiries, and his representatives have not returned calls for comment.
Right now calling Crawford gets you a recording saying, "the number you dialed is not a working number."
