‘This Is Us’ Casts Hari Dhillon in Recurring Role

“Law & Order: SVU” alum to play workplace rival to Sterling K. Brown’s character

This Is Us Hari Dhillon

NBC’s “This is Us” has added actor Hari Dhillon in a recurring role, TheWrap has learned.

The “Law & Order: SVU” alum will play Sanjay, a workplace rival to Randall (Sterling K. Brown), and will recur in multiple episodes.

Last we saw Randall, he was already encountering drama at work, having narrowly prevented another co-worker (guest star Jimmi Simpson) from committing suicide.

Dan Fogelman’s NBC drama, following the Pearson family across two timeframes, is the No. 1 new show of the fall in the crucial adults aged 18-to-49 demographic, according to Nielsen, with an average 4.1 rating in the “L3” category, measuring all viewing up to three days after the original airing.

Dhillon is best known for his role as Michael Spence British crime series “Holby City.” He also recently recurred on “Law & Order: SVU.”

Dhillon is represented by Roxane Vacca in the U.K. and Inspire Entertainment.

“This Is Us” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
