Ratings: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Drops 32 Percent From Last Year

“Chicago Fire” douses CBS special in total viewers

CBS’ Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show stumbled on the catwalk last night, dropping 32 percent from 2014. The special followed reruns on Tuesday night, when NBC enjoyed an outright Nielsen victory.

While the undergarment event topped the 10 p.m. hour in the key 18-49 demographic, NBC’s “Chicago Fire” doused it in total viewers.

Despite airing all repeats until the fashion show, CBS finished in a very cozy second place last night.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.3 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 10.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.7/9 and 12.9 million viewers. At 9, “Chicago Med” posted a 2.1/7 and 9.6 million viewers. At 10, “Chicago Fire” roared to a 2.0/7 and 9.1 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.7/6 and in viewers with 9.1 million. Following reruns, the fashion show received a 2.3/8 and 6.6 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in viewers with 3.4 million. “The Muppets” at 8 had a 1.1/4 and 3.8 million viewers. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8:30 got a 1.2/4 and 3.9 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 9 received a 1.3/4 and 3.8 million viewers. A repeat followed.

Fox and the CW tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.9/3. Fox was fourth in viewers with 2.6 million total viewers; CW was fifth with 2.5 million viewers.

For Fox, “Scream Queens” at 8 o’clock had a 1.0/3 and 2.6 million viewers. A second hour at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

For CW, “The Flash” at 8 received a 1.2/4 and 3.4 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” posted a 0.5/2 and 1.5 million viewers.

Univision and Telemundo tied for sixth in ratings, both with a 0.7/2. Univision was sixth in total viewers with 1.9 million total viewers; Telemundo was seventh with 1.8 million viewers.
