Voltage, Prime Universe Acquire Brian Edward Hill Horror Spec Script

Voltage Pictures and Prime Universe Films are teaming up to produce Brian Edward Hill’s untitled supernatural horror/thriller spec which was picked up in a pre-emptive bid.

The story remains under wraps, but is described as a supernatural “Se7en” with a female lead. Voltage Pictures will be financing the film.

Voltage’s Nicolas Chartier and Ara Keshishian are set to produce along with Prime Universe’s Adrian Askarieh. Giulio Marantonio is also on board to produce.

Voltage and Prime Universe will be going out to directors imminently and are aiming to cast the lead with a significant name.

Hill is a writer/creator who has been continuously working in Film, Television and Comics. He has written such titles as “Romulus,” “Postal,” “NetherWorld,” and “7 Days in Hell” for Image/Top Cow Comics. “Postal” was acquired by HULU and is currently in development with producer Matt Tolmach and Legendary TV. This past season, Bryan wrote on the hit Starz series”Ash vs Evil Dead.” He previously sold “Gone” with producer Marc Platt to Universal Studios, and wrote”The Russian Specialist” for Nu Image/Millennium Films.

Hill is represented by ICM, Heroes and Villains Entertainment and attorney Jeff Hynick.
