Donald Trump ratcheted his political rhetoric up a few notches on Thursday while eviscerating Ben Carson in front of an Iowa crowd for telling a story about stabbing his friend but ultimately only grazing the belt buckle.
“How stupid are the people of Iowa? How stupid are the people of this country to believe this crap?” the real estate mogul asked the crowd.
“Give me a break… Don’t be fools,” he continued.
The Donald continued tearing into Carson and the “scum” that make up the media.
“I don’t need them anymore, they’re garbage — no, they’re scum. I don’t need to deal with them anymore,” Trump said about not having to deal with the media anymore if the American people choose Carson over him, thus ending his presidential aspirations.
Trump wrapped up his rant asking “what the hell have we come to” when we have to believe tales from people like Carson, who claim to have once had pathological disease before reforming into a mild-mannered neurosurgeon.
