Watch Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin Get Teary in First Trailer for ‘Me Before You’ (Video)

The romance, based on Jojo Moyes’ hit book, opens in theaters on June 3

Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke are two people who fall in love despite bad circumstances in the first trailer for “Me Before You.”

The romance, based on the hit book of the same name by Jojo Moyes, follows a small-town girl caught between dead-end jobs. She becomes a caretaker for a successful but newly paralyzed man who has given up on life as a result of his sudden disability. The two bond over a series of adventures.

The first trailer gives audiences a glimpse into the complicated love story between Louisa Clark (Clarke) and Will Trainor (Claflin), as well as the devastating news that crushes Louisa’s heart.

“Me Before You” also stars Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, Janet McTeer and Charles Dance, and it is directed by Thea Sharrock.

“Me Before You” will be released on June 3.
