Watch ‘Supergirl’ and ‘The Flash’ Stars Tease Their Crossover Episode (Video)

“These characters exist really well together,” Grant Gustin says of visiting Melissa Benoist‘s show

Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist talked about their anticipated “The Flash”-“Supergirl” crossover episode from the CBS set of “Supergirl,” which is the location of the rare cross-network event.

Gustin’s Barry Allen, a.k.a. the fastest man on Earth, is visiting from “The Flash’s” Central City, and from a different universe all together, with the CW show having introduced the multiverse earlier in the season.

When he shows up in “Supergirl’s” National City, he’s roped into helping Kara, a.k.a. Supergirl (Benoist), in defeating her current foes, Silver Banshee (Italia Ricci) and Livewire (Britt Morgan) — in exchange for helping him get back to his own city and his own universe.

This new promo for the crossover includes interviews with cast members, as well as the first glimpse of scenes from the episode itself, which airs on Monday, March 28.

“Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8/7c on CBS and “The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
