ABC’s “Wicked City” proved that it’s not long for primetime, suffering a nasty 43 percent tumble in the key 18-49 demographic on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, NBC’s “The Voice” and “Chicago Fire” combo led the network to finish atop the main demo. “Fire” roared 17 percent to match a 52-week high among viewers 18-49, and also grew in total eyeballs for its fourth straight week. Those strong shows could not match the massive overall viewership at “NCIS,” however, which led CBS to the No. 1 slot among total audience.

The CW managed to make a rare third-place appearance last night in the advertiser-coveted demo, topping both ABC and Fox.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.5 rating/8 share and second in total viewers with an average of 9.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 earned a 2.7/9 and 10.8 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” landed a 2.1/7 and 8.2 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.8/6 and first in viewers with 11.9 million. “NCIS” at 8 scored a 2.2/7 and 16.4 million viewers. At 9, “NCIS: New Orleans” managed a 1.7/5 and 12.3 million viewers. “Limitless” at 10 received a 1.5/5 and 7.1 million viewers.

The CW was third in ratings with a 1.1/3, but fifth in viewers with 2.5 million. “The Flash” at 8 had a 1.5/5 and 3.6 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” got a 0.6/2 and 1.4 million viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and third in viewers with 3 million. “Muppets” at 8 posted a 1.2/4 and 3.9 million viewers. At 8:30, “Fresh Off the Boat” slipped 19 percent to a 1.3/4, with 3.7 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 9 had a 1.3/4 and 3.5 million viewers. “Wicked City” at 10 fell to a 0.4/1 and 1.7 million viewers.
