WWE Superstar John Cena Gets Body-Slammed by Nickelodeon Slime (Exclusive Video)

The wrestling great and “Trainwreck” actor gets messy ahead of hosting the 2017 Nickelodeon’s “Kids’ Choice Awards” on March 11

WWE Superstar John Cena has taken a lot of hard punches and body-slams during his wrestling career, so it’s no surprise that he handled getting slimed like man.

The host of the 2017 Nickelodeon’s “Kids’ Choice Awards” shared a exclusive video with TheWrap on Friday warming up to take the stage in front of thousands of young fans on March 11.

In the sticky teaser, Cena did a unique take on his WWE anthem “My Time is Now,” turning it into “My Slime is Now.”

“Get ready to scream, let’s go now. Seeing green, yeah, you know now,” the “Trainwreck star raps, in front of a colorful backdrop.

“You should call me Sir Prize because you can’t see me coming,” he brags.

Cena got some help in the music video from some of Nickelodeon’s hottest stars including “Henry Danger’s” Jace Norman and Riele Downs, plus Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin from the “Thundermans.”

But of course, the song had to live up to its title — and the Nickelodeon tradition — with Cena getting slimed at the end.

We’re pretty sure that won’t be the last time that happens.

Nickelodeon’s 2017 “Kids’ Choice Awards” airs live on Saturday, March 11 from 8-9:30 p.m. (ET/PT) from  USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Kids can cast their votes across 28 categories with a brand-new voting experience on Nickelodeon’s digital platforms including Nick.com and the Nick app on iPad, iPhone, Kindle, and Android devices. Users will also be able to vote through Twitter and Facebook using special KCA hashtags and the hashtag of their favorite nominee. Fans also can join in on the slime-fest by going to Nick.com/kca17, the official destination for everything “Kids’ Choice Awards,” for hilarious videos, the KCA Creator game, quizzes and pictures, and to get the latest KCA news on this year’s show, nominees and attendees.

It’s the only live event where kids’ votes count and the biggest stars of the day line up to get slimed, while celebrating favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, pop culture, sports and animation.
