YouTube Kicks Off 10th Birthday Celebration With Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel (Video)

Video-sharing website is looking back at most memorable moments of the past decade

YouTube is celebrating 10 years of crazy animal videos, breakout music stars and hilarious late-night clips by looking back at the most memorable moments of the last decade from A to Z.

The video-sharing website is kicking off the birthday celebrations with the letter “J” for Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel.

Late-night shows are among the most subscribed to channels on YouTube, with Fallon’s “Tonight Show” page boasting 7.1 million subscribers and Kimmel’s with over 5.8 million. Even newcomer James Corden has proven to be an instant sensation with over 200K subscribers and 58 million channel views since February.

Late-night comedians are also a consistent source of trending videos that are watched for more than 810,000 hours each day, according to YouTube.

Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” and Fallon’s “Saved By the Bell Reunion” each went viral beyond YouTube.
