Looks like co-parenting is off to a great start for Deavan and Jihoon.
In a preview of Monday’s episode of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way,” Jihoon surprises Deavan with the news that he’s quit his job as they sit with their newborn son in the park. She doesn’t seem to buy his explanation is that the job wasn’t paying him enough to both support a family and pay down his credit card debt.
“That doesn’t make any sense,” she tells him. And she’s right — it doesn’t make any sense.
She later confesses that she’s furious about the bombshell and wants to call off her plan to move with him back to South Korea, but she has “no choice” because she’s already quit her job and sold all of her belongings. Good going, guys.

After hitting it off on a dating app, Jihoon flew to Utah to meet single mom Deavan in person, and they wound up getting pregnant the first night they met. Deavan hopes to get married and move to South Korea, but the language barrier and lack of proposal aren’t the only things holding her back: Jihoon’s parents may not bless their marriage after the dishonor of getting pregnant out of wedlock. With her three-year-old daughter from a previous relationship and a soon-to-be newborn baby in tow, Deavan must overcome all obstacles in hopes of moving with her children to South Korea to be with someone she’s spent hardly any time with in person.
