‘Access Hollywood Live’ to Go Head-to-Head With ‘The View’ in NYC (Exclusive)

The news magazine show returns to its old timeslot on Sept. 8

“Access Hollywood Live” is returning for its new season on Monday.

To add to the excitement, they’ll be returning to the 11 a.m. timeslot in New York City where the show will once again go head-to-head with ABC’s “The View,” TheWrap has learned.

Additionally, they’ll be shooting live on Monday from Rockefeller Center in honor of the return to their timeslot. After a brief return to Los Angeles, the show will go back to NYC on Sept. 22.

Hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover will bring the show’s mix of celebrity scoop, entertainment, pop culture and breaking news up against ABC’s reinvented panel show.

Year over year, “Access Hollywood Live” has seen a 12 percent increase in total viewers versus 2013. And the last time it aired at the same time as “The View,” it beat the ABC show in the Women, ages 18-49 demographic.
