Acting Coach Cameron Thor Found Guilty of Lewd Act With a Child

“Jurassic Park” actor faces up to eight years in state prison

Cameron Thor, an acting coach and actor whose credits include “Jurassic Park,” “A Few Good Men” and “Ring of Fire,” has been found guilty of lewd conduct with a minor, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told TheWrap.

Thor had been charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, Thor, 55, was found guilty of one count of committing a lewd act with a child after a day of jury deliberations.

According to Simone Shay of the District Attorney’s Sex Crimes Division, the victim took classes from Thor at his Agoura Hills, California, home.

The abuse occurred in March 2009, when he drove the girl to the Santa Monica Mountains and sexually assaulted her. He was arrested last year.

Thor’s sentencing is set for Oct. 9.
