Ainsley Earhardt will take over for Elisabeth Hasselbeck on “Fox & Friends” on Fox News, the cable network announced Tuesday.

Earhardt, who has served as host of “Fox & Friends First” since 2012, will make her debut as co-host alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade on Feb. 29.

She replaces Hasselbeck, who left the show in December, stating that she wanted to spend more time with her family.

“Ainsley’s relentless work ethic, congeniality and enthusiasm for connecting with our viewers and staff are extremely refreshing,” said Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes in a statement. “She’s a superb team player and an excellent on-air host – we look forward to her joining the show during such a pivotal news year.”
