Channing Tatum returns as the titular stripper, who embarks on a road trip with his friends from the first film, including Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello.

Matthew McConaughey played their ring leader in the Steven Soderbergh-directed original, but due to a scheduling conflict with Gus van Sant’s upcoming drama “Sea of Trees,” he won’t be reprising his role.

Heard is the third actress to join the cast following Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Tatum and Reid Carolin are producing with Gregory Jacobs, who is also directing the sequel.

Heard will next be seen opposite Billy Bob Thornton in “London Fields” and alongside James Franco in “The Adderall Diaries.” She also co-stars in ‘When I Live My Life Over Again” with Christopher Walken.
