FX’s re-telling of the 20-year-old legal drama premieres on Feb. 2

The cast and executive producers of “American Crime Story” promise new details of the O.J. Simpson case in a new first look at the FX anthology series released Tuesday.

“There’s a lot of things in this that people don’t know, or they certainly don’t remember,” Sarah Paulson, who plays Marcia Clark on the series, says in the video.

Based on the book “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson” by CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, “American Crime Story” revisits the story of the O.J. Simpson trial from the perspective of his lawyers. The 10-episode series is slated to debut on Feb. 2.

Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as O.J. Simpson, and John Travolta plays defense attorney Robert Shapiro.

The cast also includes David Schwimmer as defense attorney Robert Kardashian, Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark, Connie Britton as Faye Resnick, Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, Courtney B. Vance as defense attorney Johnnie Cochran, and Bruce Greenwood as Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti.

The limited series is executive produced by Ryan Murphy, along with Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Brad Falchuk. It is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions
