Antoine Dodson, ‘Bed Intruder’ Sensation, Arrested on Pot Charge

Dodson busted on pot charge; police have yet to make an arrest in attempted assault on his sister

Internet sensation and potential reality star Antoine Dodson was arrested early Saturday for misdemeanor marijuana possession, Alabama police said.

Dodson, star of the "Bed Intruder" viral video and iTunes hit, was booked at about 2:30 a.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana in the second degree and later released. The 24-year-old was also charged with speeding, not having liability insurance, and failure to appear on two past traffic violations.

Dodson (in booking photo, above) rose to fame after he described for a local TV station how he saved his sister from an assailant who broke into her bedroom and tried to assault her.

His soundbite-rich tirade — he told the intruder, "you don't have to come and confess, we're looking for you," and warned viewers, "hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your husband, 'cause they're raping everybody out here" — was Auto-Tuned into a shockingly catchy song.

In January, Entertainment One announced plans for a reality TV pilot that would follow Dodson and his family as they relocate to Hollywood from the Lincoln Park Projects, site of the attempted assault.

Though Dodson, 24, said in his comments to the TV station that his sister's assailant left fingerprints at the scene, police have yet to make an arrest in that case.
