Ashton Kutcher Says Mila Kunis Gushed About Their ’70s Show’ Kiss in Her Diary

Actor debunks wife’s longtime claim that she wasn’t attracted to him on the set of their Fox sitcom

Ashton Kutcher says Mila Kunis was lying when she claimed she wasn’t attracted to him on the set of “That ’70s Show,” and he says there’s proof.

During Kutcher’s appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday, the host recalled Kunis’s past comments about the start of their relationship on the Fox sitcom, which aired from 1998 to 2006. “She said she didn’t think you were particularly good looking when she was 14,” Stern said.

“She’s lying!” Kutcher replied. “She has like, a journal or like, a diary from when she was a kid where she wrote, ‘Oh, this guy’s hot.’ She thought I was cute!”

“I didn’t realize how good-looking he was until we reconnected when I was in my late 20s. That’s the God’s honest truth,” Kunis said in an interview with ABC News last year. “We always, always kept in touch for years and years and years, both had completely separate lives, lived two separate lives, became two completely different people. It wasn’t until literally my late 20s that we reconnected.”

Kutcher and Kunis co-starred on the series for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006. The pair played a couple on the show, but didn’t start dating off-screen until years later.

“It was really weird. I was like, ‘Isn’t this illegal?’ I don’t know, and it was really awkward, because I’m like a 19-year-old kid,” Kutcher told Stern of their first on-screen kiss. “She was 14! She was like my little sister. I wanted to make sure she was OK.”
