Stephen Colbert Mocks Fox News for Being ‘Deeply Troubled’ By Obama’s ISIS Speech – Before He Even Spoke (Video)

“I also have not seen it, and I am furious about what I think it will be,” Colbert joked

Stephen Colbert taped Wednesday’s “Colbert Report” before President Barack Obama gave his speech about degrading and destroying ISIS, but that didn’t stop him from hating it.

The faux conservative television personality agreed with the sentiment of Fox News personality Andrea Tantaros, who said she was “very deeply troubled by what” Obama will say — four hours before he said anything.

“I couldn’t have agreed more because I also have not seen it, and I am furious about what I think it will be,” Colbert joked during the bit (above). “We’ll have full coverage tomorrow night, whether or not I ever watch it.”

Obama promised earlier in the evening that the U.S. military would be launching a new counter-terrorism program to handle the group of religious extremists that murdered American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

“It will not involve American combat troops fighting on foreign soil,” he said. “This counter-terrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out ISIL wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partner forces on the ground.”
