The first clip from David Fincher‘s “Gone Girl” was released on Wednesday, giving excited fans a glimpse of soon-to-be married couple Nick and Amy Dunne’s first meeting a party.

“Hello, Amy. Who are you?” Affleck’s character asks upon meeting his future bride.
Pike, clearly frustrated by her stunted writing career penning personality quizzes for a magazine, gives him a multiple choice quiz to guess what she does for a living.

“And you?” she retorts. “Who are you?”
“I’m the guy to rescue you from all this awesomeness,” is his witty reply.
