If the short film “Run” — it’s really more like a movie trailer — that Beyoncé and Jay Z released Sunday is an indicator, their upcoming On the Run concert tour is going to be an action thriller.
The Melina Matsoukas-directed short film includes a star-studded lineup with the likes of Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Blake Lively, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum, Rashida Jones and Guillermo Diaz of TV’s “Scandal.” The soundtrack’s not bad, either.

The tour kicks off in Miami on June 25, and will stop in at least 13 cities before wrapping in San Francisco on Aug. 5.
The crime-themed trailer’s pretty catchy and packs even more excitement than the couple’s last — and very unofficial — short film. That one featured Beyoncé’s sister Solange Knowles on surveillance video kicking and whacking Jay Z in an elevator after a party on May 5.
