‘BH90210’ Cast Re-Creates Original Opening Credits for New Fox Series (Video)

Fox’s meta-revival debuts Wednesday

Fox released the opening credits sequence for its upcoming “BH90210” series on Tuesday, showing the cast dusting off their head turns 20 years later.

The clip is a more-or-less faithful re-creation of the original opening credits sequence from “Beverly Hills, 90210,” only this time with the added twist that all of the actors will be playing versions of themselves in the new series.

The six-episode series centers on the original cast — Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering — playing fictionalized versions of themselves “with a healthy dose of irreverence” as they try to get a revival of their old show off the ground.

Paul Sciarrotta and “BH90210” co-creators Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler are co-showrunners on the series.

“BH90210” series is based on a concept by Alberghini, Chessler, Spelling and Garth. Cast members Carteris, Doherty, Green, Priestley and Ziering will also serve as executive producers.

It is produced by CBS Television Studios.
