“Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik is sick and tired of looking at billboards depicting Ariana Grande as a sexy lingerie saleswoman.

The three-time Primetime Emmy nominee, who began her sitcom career in the ’90s as the star of “Blossom,” wrote about her frustration with the sexualization of the 21-year-old singer, and ads in general in a blog post for Jewish parenting website Kveller.

“A few billboards I have seen lately really bug me. There is one for Ariana Grande, and I will go ahead and admit I have no idea who she is or what she does. Based on the billboard, she sells lingerie. Or stiletto heels. Or plastic surgery because every woman over 22 wishes she has that body, I’m sure,” Bialik wrote. “Why is she in her underwear on this billboard though? And if she has a talent (is she a singer?), then why does she have to sell herself in lingerie?”

The marketing tactic is nothing new in the music industry. Female artists have been showcasing their body and sexuality for decades. And in the age of Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj Lady Gaga regularly getting next to naked either in their music videos or on stage, it’s safe to say Grande — a former Nickelodeon star — is pretty tame, in comparison.

Still, Bialik called the starlet out along with ads for Showtime series “Masters of Sex” and Levis Jeans to address her major concern: “I don’t want my kids learning about sex from billboards.”

“I mean, I know that society is patriarchal and women are expected to be sexy and sexually available no matter what we do in society,” Bialik wrote. “But I guess now I need to explain that to my sons?”

Her social commentary inspired social media backlash from those who rushed to defend Grande, or just attack Bialik for her conservative views.

The Grande billboard Bialik is likely referring to is one that features the same image that graces the cover of her most recent album, “My Everything.”
