Workplace comedy is set in the world of the monsters from the original animated series

Netflix has picked up a new spinoff of “Big Mouth,” which delves into the world of the monsters from the animated comedy, the streaming service announced on Thursday.

The workplace comedy, titled “Human Resources,” was announced at “Big Mouth’s” New York Comic-Con panel with a video teaser.

The short clip shows a variety of monsters in workplace attire under a banner reading “Human Resources: We manage people.”

Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett and Kelly Galuska will serve as creators and executive producers on the project.

“Big Mouth” has already been picked up through Season 6 as part of Kroll, Goldberg, Levin and Flackett’s overall deal with Netflix via their newly formed animation production company, Brutus Pink. Season 3 of the comedy is set to debut on the streaming service this weekend.
