Boston pays tribute on a rainy anniversary

The city of Boston and people around the world are remembering the Boston Marathon bombing anniversary today, and paying tribute to the dead and injured.

The city will hold a moment of silence at 2:49 p.m. ET — the moment the first of the two bombs went off. ABC News is livestreaming the tribute. Figures including Vice President Joe Biden have already spoken, telling the city that the tragedy proved it is “Boston Strong.”
