Bret Michaels, Natalie Morales to Co-Host Miss Universe

Orianthi, John Legend and the Roots will perform at the Aug. 23 pageant

NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice" winner, rock musician Bret Michaels, and NBC "Today Show's" Natalie Morales, will host the "2010 Miss Universe Pageant" on NBC on Aug. 23.

The show will be televised live from the Mandalay Bay Resport & Casino in Las Vegas, with Orianthi, John Legend and the Roots, performing.

Michaels was the winner of the most recent "Celebrity Apprentice" competition on NBC. Morales has been on "Today" since February 2006 and recently hosted the "2010 Miss USA Pageant" on NBC.

Both the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants are co-owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal.

The two-hour pageant, in addition to being televised in the U.S., will be seen in 190 countries around the world.
