Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Why She Can’t Watch ‘The Unauthorized Full House Story’

During an interview about her book “Dancing Through Life,” the “Fuller House” star tells TheWrap her best friend texted after seeing a clip from the Lifetime TV movie

Candace Cameron Bure is keeping super busy these days shooting her starring role in Netflix’s upcoming spinoff “Fuller House,” guest co-hosting “The View” as well as promoting her latest book “Dancing Through Life,” in which she chronicles her time as a contestant on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

The charming actress sat down at TheWrap Studios with executive editor Joseph Kapsch on Friday to discuss the book and during the interview also talked about progress on her new sitcom “Fuller House,” which is centered on Bure’s popular character DJ Tanner of ABC’s long-running series from the 80s and 90s.

When asked about Lifetime’s “The Unauthorized Full House Story” debuting Saturday night, the actress said she hasn’t seen clips of the project but her best friend texted about the TV movie earlier that morning.

“My best friend texted me this morning and said, ‘I think your ‘mom’ is in the movie’ and she showed me a little picture,” Bure told TheWrap.

Watch the video to find out why she won’t be able to watch the Lifetime movie this weekend.

Stayed tuned to TheWrap next week for more of Bure’s interview on why she decided to pen “Dancing Through Life” and how she grew from the experience on “Dancing With the Stars” with dance partner Mark Ballas, “Fuller House” and “The View.”
