One day after filming a Q&A with Bernie Sanders at a Detroit nail salon, rapper Cardi B encouraged her Twitter followers to tune into the first night of CNN’s Democratic primary debates.

“Hey guys make sure ya watch the debate tonight!” the former “Love & Hip Hop” star tweeted.

Sanders, a Vermont senator and Democratic Socialist, will be debating nine other presidential candidates Tuesday night at Detroit’s Fox Theatre, not far from TEN Nail Bar, where the duo met to film a campaign video Monday, according to CNN.

Monday, Cardi B posted a photo of herself with Sanders on Instagram, captioning it, “Not me, US. Thank you Senator Bernie Sanders for sitting with me and sharing your plans on how you will change this country. A couple of weeks ago I asked my followers if you had the opportunity to have a question answered by a democratic candidate what would it be ? I got a lot of submission and selected the most popular questions to get answered. Stay tuned to see how he will fight for economic, racial, and social justice for all. Together, let’s build a movement of young people to transform this country.LETS LEARN OUR CANDIDATES!”

Her sit-down with the candidate came two weeks after she first tweeted, “I been reading about Bernie Sanders and I’m really sad how we let him down in 2016 This man been fighting for equal rights,HUMAN rights for such along time.”

Her support for CNN’s debate, by the way, is hardly her first brush with political media. She feuded with Fox News personality Tomi Lahren earlier this year.

A representative for Cardi B did not immediately return request for comment.
