CBS’s ‘Mom’ Books Colin Hanks, Beverly D’Angelo for Guest Roles

“Fargo” actor and “Vacation” star will appear in an episode to air in January

“Mom” is getting a couple of high-profile visitors for its second season.

The CBS comedy, which stars Allison Janney and Anna Faris as a mother and daughter battling alcoholism, has booked “Fargo” actor Colin Hanks and “Vacation” star Beverly D’Angelo for an episode during its upcoming second season, which premieres Oct. 30.

D’Angelo has been booked to play the ex-wife of Christy’s father Alvin (played by Kevin Pollak) who comes back into his life to disrupt his rekindled relationship with Bonnie (played by Janney).

Hanks (pictured above), meanwhile, will appear as Andy, a potential love interest for Faris’ Christy, who isn’t quite the type of guy she initially thinks he is.

D’Angelo and Hanks will appear in an episode set to air in January.
