Chelsea Handler Says Ellen DeGeneres Signed a Contract to Appear Nude (Video)

DeGeneres appeared, fully clothed, in a shower scene for Handler’s last episode of “Chelsea Lately” on E! in which Handler was nude

Chelsea Handler and Ellen DeGeneres reunited after what would be an awkward encounter for most people. “The last time I saw you, you were — well you were naked,” DeGeneres said when Handler appeared on her “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Thursday.

DeGeneres appeared in a sketch on the last episode of Handler’s E! talk show, “Chelsea Lately.” It was a recurring bit where Handler interacted with celebrities while in a communal shower. Some of the stars have been naked right beside Handler, but DeGeneres was not one of them.

“I texted Ellen. I said, I’d like you to do something with me in a shower naked for my last episode of my last show,” Handler said. “And she said, okay maybe. The agreement was you were gonna come up and you were gonna be nude. And I was gonna be nude.”

DeGeneres denied that right away, even after Handler said she’s signed a contract. “Oh, I’d love to see it,” she said.

“You don’t know what it feels like to be in a shower naked with someone you respect and admire and you have clothes on and I don’t. That was a very low point in my life,” Handler joked.

“It was quite something to be standing there with someone that I also admire and like very much,” DeGeneres countered. “And you don’t even care. You’re just naked.”

They talked about one thing Handler did that they absolutely could not keep from laughing during. Handler said that she gets nude so often that if the hacking scandal had hit her phone, it would have been “a disaster.”

“Nobody’s ever gonna make money off a naked picture of me, ’cause I’ll sell it to you for free,” she said.
