Chris Brown and Soulja Boy are taking their feud from the internet into the boxing ring, with help from one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Floyd Mayweather is promoting the three-round televised match and even training Soulja Boy, according to the rapper. Another championship boxer, Adrien Broner, is training Brown for the March match.

“It’s going down,” Soulja Boy wrote in an Instagram post promoting the pay-per-view fight. “Signed my contract I’m leaving the fight with $1,000,000 I got the best ever my big bro Floyd Mayweather training me dam (sic).”

Brown wrote on his own Instagram: “NOW THAT WE HAVE YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION…. BOXING MATCH SET. Legally. Man to Man. NO MORE DISSING AND NO MORE BULLS–T.”

Mayweather’s companies — Mayweather Promotions and The Money Team — are promoting the fight. 50 Cent also appears to be involved in some capacity, and posted a video Thursday declaring “this s–t is going down,” and called on people with money to place their bets.

The first major celebrity feud of 2017 (and considering its spawning a boxing match, perhaps the biggest celebrity feud of the decade) kicked off on Tuesday when Soulja Boy began taunting Brown on Twitter. Apparently it was spawned by Soulja Boy liking an Instagram post by Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Read all about the saga here, if you care to catch up.
