It’s time for a detente in the hashtag wars, as “@midnight” is coming to an end.
Chris Hardwick‘s late-night game show airs its final episode Friday on Comedy Central, and the host took to Twitter to bid farewell.
“Our final @midnight airs at midnight tonight!” he tweeted, adding a selfie that included a number of popular performers, including Paul Scheer and Weird Al Yankovich. “Was honored to share the stage w/ these brilliant comedians I’m proud to call friends! #points.”
“Oh & HUGE thanks to @ComedyCentral who gave us an hour for our farewell show tonight!” he continued. “I may have even gotten to play hashtag wars finally…”
The “Talking Dead” star added that “miss @midnight as a host AND as a comedy fan.”
Comedy Central announced last month in a statement that Hardwick and the network had “mutually agreed” to end the show after four seasons.
