Chris Pratt joined a long cinematic line of action stars during his win at this year’s MTV Movie Awards — and he made sure to thank virtually all of them.
While accepting a golden popcorn trophy for Best Action Performance in “Jurassic World,” Pratt called the prize a “freakin’ dream come true” and made sure to give a shout-out to those who came before him — both male and female action icons throughout history.
No-brainers like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone made the list, as did “Aliens” badass Sigourney Weaver and the lesser-known Cynthia Rothrock, a martial arts performer who is said to be the inspiration for a female character in the “Mortal Kombat” video games.
Here are the first 28 names Pratt rattled off in his speech:
Jean-Claude Van Damme
Chuck Norris
Steven Seagal
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Sylvester Stallone
Jackie Chan
Bruce Willis
Jason Statham
Sigourney Weaver
Charles Bronson
Brigitte Nielsen
Burt Reynolds
Anthony Mackie
Cynthia Rothrock
Dolph Lundgren
Ralph Macchio (“The Karate Kid”)Liam Neeson
David Hasselhoff
Jesse “The Body” Ventura
Patrick Swayze
Wesley Snipes
Rowdy Roddy Piper (Canadian Pro Wrestler)
Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (American Pro Wrestler)
Dwayne Johnson
Dave Bautista (WWE and MMA Pro Wrestler)
Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka (Late actor and Pro Wrestler)
Jake “The Snake” Roberts (American Pro Wrestler)
Captain Lou Albano (American Pro Wrestler)
The 29th name on Pratt’s list of heroes was the sweetest — his wife, actress Anna Faris.
“Our son was always going to be tough, but because of you he’s going to be smart, too,” Pratt concluded.
