The writer-director-star of “Top Five” may be doing “SportsCenter’s” “Top 10,” as Chris Rock will be appearing for 30 minutes on Tuesday’s ESPN flagship news show with Stephen A. Smith at 1 p.m. ET.
Rock’s spot will include an interview, and he may also lend his voice to highlights, according to ESPN.
Rock will spend some time doing an employee-only event on ESPN’s campus, TheWrap has exclusively learned. The stand-up comic will also appear on other ESPN shows during the morning including “First Take,” Colin Cowherd’s “The Herd,” and “His & Hers.”
“Top 5” follows a comedian who tries to make it as a serious actor when his reality-TV star fiancée talks him into broadcasting their wedding on her show. The film, starring Rosario Dawson, J.B. Smoove, Gabrielle Union, Cedric the Entertainer, Jay Pharoah, Tracy Morgan, Kevin Hart and Leslie Jones, among others, was released on Friday.
