CMT has promoted Morgan Selzer to senior vice president of program development, the network announced on Thursday.

Selzer, who previously served as vice president of development, will oversee all aspects of development for the Viacom network. She is based in Los Angeles and will continue to report to Keith Cox, president of development for Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT.

“Morgan is a seasoned and savvy development executive who crafts compelling stories across multiple formats and genres,” Cox said in a statement. “During her tenure at CMT, she’s delivered the network’s biggest hits and has a clear, creative vision to elevate the brand to new creative heights.”

Selzer joined CMT in 2014 after serving in various development roles at Style network and MTV. She currently oversees production of the final season of “Nashville,” the unscripted series “Music City,” as well as the upcoming revival of “Wife Swap.”
