NBC picked up three new comedy pilots, including one from “Cougar Town” creator Bill Lawrence.

Written by Vladimir Caamano, the untitled multi-camera sitcom follows Vlad, the son of Dominican immigrants, who wants to carve his own path in life. But that proves difficult because his father has no desire to change their extremely co-dependent relationship.

Lawrence, Adam Sztykiel and Jeff Ingold will serve as executive producers on the series from Warner Bros. TV.

The network has also ordered a pilot for “Sebastian,” executive produced by “My Name Is Earl” and “Raising Hope” creator Greg Garcia. Written by Sebastian Maniscalco and Austen Earl, the multicamera family comedy from CBS TV Studios and Garcia’s Amigos de Garcia will star Maniscalco.

Maniscalco and Earl will serve as executive producers.

“Crunch Time” comes from “My Boys” creator Betsy Thomas. It is described as a hybrid game show-comedy that intercuts between a real game show and the scripted workplace that centers on an up-and-coming producer trying to wrangle the volatile host.

Thomas, Phil Gurin and David Janollari will serve as executive producers on series from Universal Television.
