Showtime has picked up a second season of “Couples Therapy.”

Like the first season, Season 2 will go behind closed doors to reveal the weekly therapy sessions of real-life couples. Dr. Orna Guralnik, the therapist featured in Season 1, has been confirmed to return for the next set of episodes.

Per Showtime, the docuseries from filmmakers Josh Kriegman, Elyse Steinberg and Eli Despres turns its cameras on the couples as “Dr. Guralnik deftly guides the couples through the minefield of honest confrontation with each other and with themselves, revealing the real-life struggles — and extraordinary breakthroughs — typically hidden behind closed doors.”

The series is produced by Edgeline Films, with Kriegman, Steinberg and Despres serving as executive producers and directors. Carly Hugo and Matt Parker are producers, and Dan Savage is a consulting producer.

Season 1 is currently airing Fridays on Showtime.
