‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,’ ‘Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj’ Among Emmys Juried Award Winners

Awards will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmys next month

The TV Academy unveiled the winners of its juried awards on Friday, with “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj” and “Love, Death & Robots” among the winners.

The awards — which cover categories from animation, choreography, interactive programming and motion design — will be presented across the two nights of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies next month.

The Emmys’ juried categories are evaluated separately from the rest of the awards, and require all entrants to be screened by a panel of professionals in the appropriate peer group. There are no nominees, and any given juried category may result in one, zero or multiple winners.

The 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards presentation, executive produced by Bob Bain, will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15. An edited broadcast will air Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on FXX.
