“Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Hough announced the news Tuesday on his Instagram account, confirming he is vaccinated.

“Even though I’ve been fully vaccinated, I’ve just been diagnosed with a breakthrough case of COVID,” Hough said. “I just found out and I feel OK. I feel strong, but I’m currently taking advice from medical professionals, doing everything I can to get better as fast as I can.”

Hough said he is “currently in quarantine” but planned to keep fans updated on his condition through his social media.

The judge’s breakthrough case meant he had to cancel shows he had scheduled in Las Vegas this week.

ABC, which airs “Dancing with the Stars,” didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment about Hough and the show, which is heading into the finals next week. Hough did appear on the show Monday night.

Earlier this season, pro Cheryl Burke and her celeb partner Cody Rigsby were also diagnosed with breakthrough cases of COVID. They managed to still compete by doing a remote performance.

Once they were cleared to compete, they returned to the ballroom, and the pair will enter next week’s finals, which air Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
