Dave Chappelle has slated his next Netflix stand-up special, the streamer announced on Friday.
“Dave Chappelle: Equanimity” will premiere this New Year’s Eve, Sunday Dec. 31, 2017. The announcement was made with a teaser video inserting Chappelle into a scene from Netflix’s hit sci-fi series “Stranger Things.”
This marks the comedian’s third stand-up special for Netflix this year, following “The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium” and “Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits,” both of which premiered in March.
The comedian also recently appeared in the “Def Jam Comedy” 25th anniversary special for Netflix, alongside Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley and others.
