Diego Boneta to Guest Star on ‘Jane the Virgin’

“Jane the Virgin” has cast Diego Boneta for a guest starring role, TheWrap has learned.

The “Scream Queens” alum will play Dax, described as an intelligent, hipster skateboarder. He is a tech “genius” who takes a look at Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) computer and ends up surprising her… in a few ways.

“Jane the Virgin” also stars Justin Baldoni, Brett Dier, Jaimi Camill, Andrea Navedo, Ivonne Coll and Yael Grogblas.

Boneta most recently played the series regular role of Pete on Fox’s Ryan Murphy horror-comedy “Scream Queens.” His other recent credits include “90210” and “Pretty Little Liars.” He is represented by Gersh and Management 360.

“Jane The Virgin” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
